Wolverines Position: Founder and Principal Director

Coach Reno, Founder and Principal Director of the Mountain House Wolverines, started coaching in Ann Arbor, Michigan at twenty one years old while attending the University of Michigan in the 1990’s. After graduating college, he moved to Northern California and coached boys & girls youth basketball in Daly City, Alameda, Tracy and Mountain House. He started the Wolverines when his girls team from Bethany school wanted to play beyond their school league.

Coach Reno holds a Teaching Credential in Secondary Education and a Bachelor Degree in English & Mass Communications from The…University of Michigan (Go Blue!).

Off the court, he works as a Supervisor for a government agency in the Bay Area. He is married to Lynette and has three crazy kids — Alyssa, Meeeah and Noah. His debut novel is scheduled to be released November 2017.
