Lemuel Vergara, 3/4 Grade Wolverines Head Coach, began his love affair with basketball at 6 years old. Always playing with his older cousins, Coach Lem aspired to be one of the best point guards he could be. His point guard playing experience made coaching a natural transition.

As a coach, the importance of fundamentally sound basketball is at the top of his teaching priorities. Coach always teaches good team basketball and the importance of a strong work ethic to his players. It is important to him that players always give their best effort and show solid sportsmanship. Hard work, Humility, and Hustle is the way Coach believes the game should always be played.

Coach Lem is an educator by trade.
