THE MOUNTAIN HOUSE WOLVERINES AAU BASKETBALL JV HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TAKE 1ST PLACE
(USA-California-Selma April 15, 2013) —- The Mountain House Wolverines JV High School Girls team coached by Pang Kol took 1st place on April 13-14, 2013 at the April Shower’s AAU Girls Tournament in Selma, California.
They completed an impressive 4-0 sweep by defeating The Slam Varsity squad in Game 1, the Raiders JV 56-15 in Game 2, Selma High School JV 48-18 in Game 3 and PC Elite JV 52-43 in the Game 4 championship game.
Head Coach Pang Kol couldn’t be happier. “I’m very proud of our girls, their dedication and hard work paid off this weekend. Our girls played with composure and they set a good example for up & coming Lady Wolverines! Very proud weekend for us all!”
The majority of this team has been playing together for over two years and are currently comprised of two Mountain House 8th graders and 9th graders from Kimball High, West High and Ripon Christian. Their next tournament is on April 20th & 21st, 2013 at the 2nd Annual Monterey Classic. They will also be playing in Reno NV at the Jam On It Memorial Weekend tournament in preparation for high school showcase tournaments over the summer.
